The pastime of car modifying
Discussion
Why spend £s modifying? - simples - to make my car how I want it.
I'm currently have 3 cars - daily which is altereted to suit me, a convertable which has only had factory up-grades and a 1980's hot hatch which has been changed in every area except the body shell and that will be coming soon - 3 door maestro turbo anyone?
The only car of the 3 I am ever likly to sell is the MGF - hence only factory up-grades.

I changed the exhaust on my Elise because the one Lotus fitted weighed a ton and sounded awful. I also fitted the airbox that Lotus fits to some higher powered supercharged versions of my engine. No more power from my engine, but sounds much better. It's never going to sound wonderful, it's a four cylinder engine, but it now makes a noise I find much more pleasing than the one it used to make. And as it was my money which paid for it, that's all that really counts.
