I did it too.
Poor old girl ended up being taken to pieces after the bulkhead and the floor started to part company.
Spotted this a while back and remembered just as I posted the pic of my old car.
It was the full package with radio masts on the roof etc. Not sure if it was a joke or what but it made me chuckle

Here is mine. 400+bhp so a bit of bite to back up the bark. It is de-stickered now though. Used to get a lot of good attention when I first had it (about 6 years ago), people asking to take pics or stopping to talk about it but now with all the other pink, orange, blue tatty versions around it just gets seen as another one by most.
Cost to have it done was £350 designed and fitted, had it modified a bit from standard design by having logos for things I had used on the car and things like the Ring sticker on the c pillar.
and at a PH meet

The name is Will lol. You are forgiven. A friends company did them for me System Signs in Royal Wootton Basett near Swindon, Wilts. They will probably still have my design on file if you want anything doing. Rob, where did you get the decals from?

I can't guarantee a similar price though as that was mates rates and years ago.
If you want anything let me know and I will ask my friend to have a look and see if it's still there, they can do custom stuff too.

Hmm, some of them will have the MSA slighty nervous – ‘competition numbers’ on a road car. Uninformed members of the public thinking these are actual competition cars has caused hassle before.
I thought about this on mine which is why where the rally sticker/number would be on mine I have Prodrive 88 (car is build number 88) and having Prodrive there it is not claiming to be on an event. Think that covers me anyway.GroundEffect said:

I think he meant the scoop. I've heard rumours that the scoops on the turbo 2000s can harm the engine at high speed.
No they won't. They'll ruin the aero though. moribund said:
Saw this parked up at Rally GB last week - looks the part I think, but check out the names in the window:
I saw the driver getting ready to hike to the stage - was he a 20-something hoodie? No, a white haired gent in his 60's I'd estimate. Respect!

I like that, more so because its dirty and obviously used properly!
I wouldn't personally do it because I don't want the attention, but I quite like seeing them just for something different to the norm.

Ahh, so it was a general sign-writer rather than specific rally-sticker place?

Out of interest, no driving lights? Have you got an oil cooler or something mounted there? Cost to have it done was £350 designed and fitted, had it modified a bit from standard design by having logos for things I had used on the car and things like the Ring sticker on the c pillar.

I've got a 9-row cooler under my old TMIC but I'm not convinced it's the best place.
