No mention of the Ferrari 400 you tweeted about the other week Chris?
This would be better (if a little tricky/ expensive to go and view) anyway.

I have driven both in many types, I've owned at least 4 Delta Integrale's also the first and later types, and 4 M coupe's also the S54 type.
ofcorse beauty is in the eye of the beholder
but the M coupe is the better car with good handling and good connection for the driver.
and euh...I 'hate' the 80's rectangle square boxes inside the Delta's (outside is nice/ok though)
and in many other cars...and a dash/interior is also important to me how it feels...
all personal ofcorse.

I would have thought that the BMW is a much better car to live with.. but, as part of a collection, the Lancia would win by miles for me.ofcorse beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Chris, the Evo is the obvious choice surely but if you do source one from the classifieds go for a private as the trade examples are way too high. Near on 40k for an integrale? I think not. Try and find a late one for 22k odd. Job done.
Absolutely. Always worth going private and avoiding the "Integrale traders" on PH that seem to be in a pact to falsely inflate prices for any quality Integrales... even though most of their stock are low/no history imports from Japan (16v headlamps on and Evo body is the usual give-away).Just be sure to get Keith (Auto Integrale), John Whalleys, Walkers or someone in the know to inspect it first.
Deltas aside, what else would I go for for a bit of fun (without breaking the bank)?
Renault Turbo 2
Maserati GranSport
TVR Sagaris

I really like the design of the Evo but the interior is terribly dated. Not good dated like the one of a 308 GT4 but really ugly.and in many other cars...and a dash/interior is also important to me how it feels...

In my opinion, the one of the M Coupe is timeless (is that a proper English word?), being kind of a coloured with chrome touches neo-retro thing.
How much are the Stratos and the road-version 037 in the UK?
The one off hartge 5lr V8 Z3 is back up for sale, keep it in the pistonhead family?

Looks nice, a bit different to the usual Mi16 gti conversions.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-205-Xs-106-gti-e...

+1 for the 205 rallye.
I nearly imported one a couple of years ago but combined with the hassle, French seller not speaking any English and LHD I decided the 106 equivelant was a better choice. Also think the 106 just beats it looks wise anyway.

---- Older Lotus Europa especially the later models from 1972<>1975 those days (also from 1969 I believe) those Lotus Europa's were known as one of the best drivers cars in the days!
they were light and thanks to very good roadholding also fast in the corners.
thanks to their 'extreem' lightness 180 or so hp should be fun allready, let alone converted to Zetec engine and say 260 NA hp
.
THAT is what I am doing to my Europa! 260 @ n/a is a bit hopefull tho' More like 220 - but in a car that weighs three parts of sod all.....they were light and thanks to very good roadholding also fast in the corners.
