That's the worst looking car I have EVER seen! Ew! I would rather have AIDS than be seen driving one of these! Ewwww!
Wow, it was well worth the 9 month wait for your first post. Thanks for your contribution. hussein said:

Right, a V6S F-type Coupe with 375bhp and a manual gearbox should be around £65,000. Quite a bit more expensive, yes, but just look at it. Makes the Cayman look about 10 years out of date already...
heheh. Is this 50k for the Cayman basic? So in porker tradition are they going to charge you extra's like a grand for a steering wheel, and 2grand for a sports exchaust on ya sports car?Beefmeister said:

All well and good, but... the V6S F-type Coupé is also going to be heavier, thirstier and slower edo said:

Is dual zone air con really needed in a cabin the size of the Cayman's? We have it in the Cayenne and always use it on single zone mode. I reckon you can save £518 there. I agree with the BOSE comments too so that would be another £800 saved. Bingo! Less than £57K Cayman S £ 47,059.00

IMHO it looks great, although some views are not helped by the angles of the shots. Depends also whether you are just judging from a distance or in the market to buy one.
The looks are of course subjective, but where else do you find something better -in looks/handling/speed/practicality/price? Might mention mpg but can't believe in the 35mpg figure. Bet Chris H. didn't get too close to that!
The luggage capacity is great for this type of car, my wife and I have no problems on long trips (even had room for the obligatory 5litre tub of oil as well!!)
911's just can't offer any competion at the same money.
PCCB? costs a fortune then a mortgage for the upkeep-especially if you are prone to track days.
Buy the Jag? Will prob cost more than £65K. and like the man says its slower, heavier and in trying to keep up will give you next to zero mpg! Looks great though...on the way to the pumps!
I like my CS well enough (even though has just cost me a fortune for the inbuilt engine issues which Porsche aren't keen on acknowledging) This car is much better-just hope there aren't any further hidden probs. Dam shame I can't afford one.
My advice is to go and drive one -new or older- oh, and (pre '08)protect yourself from the engine£££ one way or another.

Apart from a low mileage 997 this is a close second. It will concern Jaguar how good the Cayman & Boxster have turned out.
The battle will be over highly overpriced options and which is the most expensive standard list price. Jaguar will have to undercut both to have a success on their hands, or else it will be too expensive and too near the X-K.
