Just pathetic. You accelerated for no apparent reason it was obvious the dodderer hadn't made is mind up. You remind me of those wker cyclists that put every small mistake on YouTube. Next time why don't you shout the reg number out.

Interestingly, only a few people have made comments about having a dashcam. If this was footage from a cyclist's helmet cam, a lot more people would be complaining.

Man. A Ford Focus 1.6 Sport accelerating up the backside of a Nissan Micra. I'm spending way too much time reading PH threads.

Neither do owners of frugal, modern cars. wink

Paying tax doesn't give you any rights, you Muppet. If it were a road use charge it'd be a different story, but it's just the state having found another way of fleecing you blind without obligation.

Cyclists are smart because they've found a way of avoiding paying tax!

Chill out lad I'm taking the piss, it's the only response to a cycling thread these days hehe

Was that video taken on Shirley high street (Stratford Rd)? I'm sure I recognise it.

There is nothing wrong with having a camera if you also use it to review and improve your own driving.

Next time rather than getting wound up and posting on here, much to the dismay of all. Why not kill them?

Seriously, follow them home, stab them. No more poor driving, no more silly threads.

Some of the comments on here have me laughing my head off!

This quote below though-> I'm not sure I agree having no interest in driving equates to 'buying a car of a similar ilk to a micra'.

But even if it does - having 'an interest' in driving or not is not (sadly) necessarily linked to being a better (and definately not necessarily a safer) driver

As an example - I have a much higher interest in driving than my other half... but I will admit I am far more aggressive a driver than she. Who is better ? Well thats subjective (of course its me)!

And much as I also agree with some of the sentiment against the OP - I have to confess I would likely have hooted in the same situation, depending on my mood but most likely...

And yeah I would probably have regretted it after.

Either way I'll stick by my statement then most people in cars of similar ilk to a Micra, etc have on interest in driving hence these situations occur...

Well thanks for all the (very) interesting comments haha!

It seems some agree, and some do-not smile Obviously the situation would have been avoided by easing off (more than I already had), and waiting till the old biffer had made his mind up about which lane he was in and where he was going before applying some juice but hey-ho.

Live and learn, and avoid Micra's it seems (from the general census of comments!)

Definitely both in the wrong I'm afraid, yes he/she pulled out a bit too close to you and didn't accelerate hard enough, but you played up to this by getting really close and antagonising them. If it wasn't a dangerous move then don't play up to it!
