A set of winter tyres will do a much better job than 4wd and will allow you not to have to run a 4wd the rest of the time. Win - win.
A set of winter tires on an AWD would obviously be the best option, but I suppose when one does not understand traction, comments like this are inevitable. You realise that you just did another projection, right there ?
Anyway, are you coming to the Ring ? Or do you stick to the internet ?

Of course not, but all credit to your continuing quest
LOL. I know. But what the guy doesn't realise is that it's an honest offer. I find that apparent weirdos like him can be quite normal face to face. And I would genuinely love to learn something, or simply get him a beer. Been driving on track for 30 years, some of it competitively but I can't remember a time where I didn't learn anything, particularly at the Ring where humility is definitely de rigueur !
