RE: Mini Cooper S: Spotted

My sister had a GP and it was a cracking little car right up until the point one of her son's friends had a go in it and managed to drop it from 5th into 2nd when he was aiming for 4th! The mangled engine was fixed as best he could by said friend as he was a mechanic but it was never the same so it was eventually traded in for a new A1. Shame and she still misses it.
Not sure that they are ever going to worth this much though!

Possibly the car that made cars fun again, especially interior wise.
I've got a R56 but still fancy a R53, I was after a last last get 53 so a 2006 but found a nice 2009 R56 locally for the same price. Lower tax and better mpg also helped swing the vote.
All personal decisions etc, but trading a supercharger for a turbo, and getting a less tightly designed and larger car just for a smidge less annual expense...hmm...not sure newer is better?I've got a R56 but still fancy a R53, I was after a last last get 53 so a 2006 but found a nice 2009 R56 locally for the same price. I don't disagree but I needed a car quickly and this was local and a great price. I did try and buy a mates Hartge R53 a few years earlier but he sold it before I got to it.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
