Don't you know what van you drive!? Surely that's a Vauxhall Vivaro?
I know it doesn't help the discussion, but this is what I wanted to ask as soon as I read "Ford Transit" and saw the picture hehe
No its definitly a ford transit but i know that the shape of them are similar
The BT Openreach vehicle in the original photo is 100% not a Ford Transit! It's very likely a Vauxhall Vivaro as others have mentioned, and shown.

How do you not know? The steering wheel will have a Vauxhall badge on it, facing you all the time!

(sorry, i know this wasn't the point of the thread but i can't get past it!)

why can't you just leave the van at the yard? seems like pointless confrontation unless its saving you hours in travel time.
All my work gear is in the van because i in customers houses fixing telephone wires and my jobs could be from newcastle upon tyne all the way down to York so the van there so i can get to my first job of the day at the time BT say i will be there.
If your neighbour calls BT / Openreach to complain, you’ll be parking your car at the depot. So you’ll have to go there to pick it up & be at your first job on time. Openreach won’t care that you lose an hour of your day. Keep the neighbours off your back !

So where do you park the Fiesta that is listed in your profile. No mention of a Jaguar there.

The OP has already commented that he has sold the Fiesta and replaced it with the Jaguar. I am sure not everyone immediately rushes off to change their information on PH when they change cars.

Everyone likes to be a smartarse on the internet, usually they just look like a dick.

I can't comment on the legal / official standpoint, but if there are 6 bays and 6 homes, its a bit of a cheek to take up two spaces. Can't you park the van on the road or something?
Agreed. Bringing a work vehicle home is high on the list of neighbour disputes. Parking it, blocking someones view etc.

Park the van on the grass.

Would any of them use the vacated bay?
A bit council, isn't it?
Yes, the council probably own/maintain the grass area- and they and other people wont appreciate it when the grass gets wrecked and rutted when its wet again!

You could always just park the van on the side of the road...

Buy four more cheap vehicles and park them in the remaining spaces. Report all your neighbours to the police for harassment.

i work for a company that begins with an 'O' that is owned by a company that begins with a 'B'.
i also drive what i believe to be a transit but who can be sure these days.
solutions to your problem.
1.park at local exchange then walk, cycle or car to your van.easy
2,neighbours complain to openreach and openreach will then make you park where they say.might be a T.E.C. miles away.you travel in your time not company time.
if you are new to openreach then "garage at home" may be a requirement of continued employment.if you have nowhere suitable to park the van due to a dispute you could get the flick from said company.(unlikely but possible)
3,move to a house with a garage and a drive.
4,find a neighbour with a drive but no car, make friends and park jag there,
i tried toi help.
your van is a vivaro though smile

Still not a Ford Transit though, is it?

I don't want to argue with OP, but I will never accept his assertion that that van is a Ford Transit and based on anecdotal evidence of having seen many Openreach Vivaros but no (that I can recall) Trafics or Primastars, I believe that that bad boy is a Vauxhall Vivaro

The bigger dicks are usually the ones who are fooled by the trolls.

The bigger issue other than the Jag and the Fiesta is the Vivaro and the Transit.

A massive troll post, clearly the OP knows it’s a Vivaro/Traffic etc that is in the picture, not a Transit.

It's amazing how I can tell that's not a Transit by looking at a fuzzy photo of a van which measures approximately half centimetre on my phone screen and yet the OP actually has the key in his hand, name on some paperwork and sits behind a steering wheel none of which says 'Ford' on it and thinks it is.

Quite amazing.

This not Ford Transit, Vauxhall Vivaro is quickly becoming a thing, two Dev's at work chatting about it while making a brew this morning.

I can see this printed on mugs and T-shirts on PH Store

If it’s uncomfortable and gutless it’s a Vivaro. If it feels like it has been assembled by people over the age of 6, it’s a Transit.

OP, your problem is not the van at all. I reckon the neighbours would leave you alone if you changed your Jaguar for an old Aygo, because then you'd be more on their level.
