Agreed. It might also help if the dealer could accurately summarise the spec of the car. It appears to have 19’’ wheels fitted, not 18’’s, as described. I had one around 5 years ago and the only issue I had was a bonnet sensor, £20 fix. Monster of an engine enjoyable on start up, enjoyable when pottering and enjoyable when on it it’s a master piece! Makes a great daily drive minus the MPG, I averaged 12 on my short journeys to work/ the shops and 29 on the long slog up to the in-laws in Inverness.

All in all - find a good one, spend the money and enjoy. I adore mine. Even with the 19" wheels on it.
Good advice re handbrake. Love my wagon. Seems we have similar taste. Have a 4.3 Str8six Tuscan. Brakes are reasonable (way cheaper thatn my previous insignia VXR). And yes gearbox oil change is a must. Word of warning - use the parking brake otherwise they corrode and replacements are £600ish at a local specialist (go on, ask me how I know).
Front brakes £700ish.

2) You implied they were POS (which would mean the majority) with inherent issues & even in your statement you added "Yet" implying that i'm lucky to have got this far without issue.
I'm not seeing lots 63 AMG's with blown engines in the same way you see a fair few N/A M Cars.
No defense here nor is it needed lots of happy owners on here, the proof is in the pudding.
You're right all cars will have failure at some point but you didn't say that.
My car is 10+ years old & rolling along just fine, maintenance is the key to any car lasting, as for parts pricing I can tell you for a fact parts are cheaper on my AMG compared to an IS-F & by the same token the IS-F you're lauding will suffer the same issues as the 6.2 going by your logic.
The labour rate is cheaper is at Lexus main dealers but the parts for their 5.0 V8 aren't cheap not that either goes through lots of parts as they're well built N/A engines

That's not my "opinion", and that's not something I'm "implying". If you have a problem with what the individual in question has found, I suggest maybe you take his findings up with him.
I’ve had my 2014 Estate coming up for a year now, and I absolutely love it. It’s the only car I’ve ever owned where I have no desire to change anything about it. It’s completely standard.
These are going through the undesirable owners stage, with some questionable modifications being carried out, the car in question being a prime example. This thankfully seems more prevalent for coupes and saloons in my experience.
In the year I’ve had mine, I’ve refurbished the wheels back to factory spec, fitted two rear tyres, replaced a cam cover and had it serviced.
I like the fact mine is very nondescript wearing the 18” wheels and silver in colour. It certainly doesn’t stand out.
