It's a lovely little town but I'm not seeing any evidence of this legendary music festival. Girl in the hotel said their would be bands everywhere in the streets.

Perhaps I'm too early but I've seen nothing.

Its nice just to sit here though and watch the world.

Wtf is a parampenet? I might be remembering that word wrong!

Ha ha - oops, looks like I misspelled too.

Strap yourself to the instructor, hang a bedsheet from the straps and jump off the side of the mountain smile

I think we call it paragliding.

What could possibly go wrong?

Now you see, not a chance!

I'm a complete pussy when it comes to things like that.

Shal was mad for things like that, loved all that stuff. We would drive all over the country just so she could throw herself off things, or slide down mountains, or hang upside down from a piece of cotton. The more dangerous it was the more she was up for it.
I was always planted firmly on the ground filming it!

Yet she was such a gentle and unassuming soul.
I'm loud and crass and ignorant and love driving fast but show me a roller-coaster and I shake like a stting dog.
The more terrifying something was the more she wanted to do it!
But she never did the first two weeks of these trips because she didn't like me driving fast!

Human beings are strange.

Anyway, nope.

I went to Annecy a few years ago and watched from the top. You strap in to a hanglider with a tiny lanyard and he jumps off a plank of wood about 3 thousand feet in the air.
I'd rather stick a needle in the white of my eye.

Of course I showed a video of it to Shal and she was "I want to do that!"

Just been through the list.

Shal would have done all of them!

Believe it or not I used to kite surf, till my knees went. Still got loads of good kit in my loft.

The only thing I might look at is EMTB.
I just bought one a few weeks ago.

It's the absolute nuts.

I got the extra battery too and I can go out for 70 mile rides.

Do they have a place in town?

Came back to the hotel, really don't want to get wrecked tonight and I was just starting to get warmed up!

Want to be up early for the pool. I'll post a pic of the clouds rolling up off the mountain, it's amazing.

This stuff never stops, it's like every minute I look out of the window.

But its cool. I'm happy as long as they don't sit on it!

Did I tell you the story about my lambo in Covent Gardens?

Oh touch!

Just asked in the restaurant, they've got me in!

I'm wearing shorts and T shirt with a pair of headphones round my neck.
I look like I've just been thrown out of a flat roofed pub!

I’d be interested in your rating of the various passes around Switzerland.

Back in NL now after a month in Lausanne but hoping to be fairly regular there.

Best so far for me has been the Jaunpass from Gruyère and then the road that runs along the valley floor to Interlaken.
