well if we are talking 'Shopping trolleys' none of the above.

Alfa 147 GTA for the psychopathic insane
or
Delta Integrale if you actually want to get out of the corners forwards

unfortunately both now out of production weeping so I'll stick with my crappy old plastic from Blackpool for phosphate ester based kicks.

Scirroco. Would love one, but not sold here.

Would probably get an 8P Audi S3 and have fun with the mods though.

Unfortunately someone up the road has acquired a lime green RS. It will look even classier when they overload their house with xmas lights in a few weeks.

Welcome back to 1980's tackiness.

RS Focus no question - In lime green too.

Matt
I have to say I do actually like these, but not for that money, its still a Focus! And why would anyone pay for an over weight hatch when you could have something like a V8 powered RWD 2+2 coupe for the same money? Making a better noise, even better looking and distinctive, faster on paper and likely more fun on the road.

But each to their own, would be a boring place otherwise.

I'd have the Focus RS. If I didn't need the rear seats I'd have a hard time choosing between the RS and the Megane.

If it was my own money though it would be going elsewhere.

From the list I would choose the Megane because although I have never driven one every Renaultsport model is praised for the way they drive and because of this I can't see them ruining this new one. However the Scirocco looks the best.

They do? Is that some kind of Ford/Local Council initiative to attract people to the area?

We do you know. It's a right of passage. We start of with a little french number, then move on to a fast ford, perhaps a dabble with a cheeky bit of Jap, then settle down and get a VW. It is written and so it shall be hehe

Out of those, i'd go megane.

Out of any hot hatch ever, i've always fancied throwing one of these around a track.

Hasnt it got rampant front wheelspin/torque-steer though?

Subaru from that list for me (surprise surprise). The others wouldn't see which way it went on the sort of roads I play on, and they wouldn't be as much fun either.

Mind you many of the posters on this thread seemed more concerned about how a car looks than how it drives anyway!

The 330s is a hatchback, but I wouldn't call it a "hot hatch". That is a title bestowed on a FWD overpowered, underhandling chav chariot in my book. The only one in that list that I would drive (if it wasn't my money I was spending), would be the Focus RS.
