How pathetic this is, at least Ferrari and Porsche just promote the car not the lifestyle. If you want cool look at Maserati, even the two door Gran Turismo has more room in the back than the Crapide.

Agreed. The first rule of being cool is not to look like you're trying to be. This ridiculous production and the "power beauty soul" junk are both trying too hard. Cool is a title you earn, not a title you can bestow upon yourself.

Remember those cool BMW films from a few years ago? That's how to do car marketing.

This is worse than Emmerdale or Footballer's Wives. A LOT worse.

Too slow, too boring, I didn't have the patience to watch beyond "I'm the brain."

Aston Martin....cool? Don't think so.

They dropped off my wish list years ago.
Agreed; would love an old one, though.

How wky is it to have "power beauty soul" or whatever it is flash up when you start it up. Pathetic.

Perhaps - but surely the subtlety of Aston Martin and their sense of 'British reserve in metal' is all part of their international appeal? They leave flamboyance to the Italians and cheese to the Americans.

Surely a Bond film acts as a better ad?

Because J-LC are the "official" watch supplier to Aston Martin and its customers ( No, I dont geddit either), so its a bit of brand marketing for them too...

In next weeks edition, they will show a DBR9 driver wearing Hackett and...

This could be the latest Bond trailer, after all, the last two films weren't much better than this!

So what is Britains coolest brand - to PH type people?

Not really though about it too much but i might vote Martin Baker? Near total world domination in their market and saved countless lives.

They probably are - they're certainly not actors.

It would have been less nauseating if they had employed some actors, rather than catalogue models.

Thats an absolutely awful advert.

Such a shame that Aston has gone the way of obsessed labelites and footballers.

Aston. You're nailing the coffin shut very quickly with the true enthusiasts - but I suspect you don't care about that when there are plenty of Chelsea and Kings Road buyers out there.

Problem is, I Aston know that genuine enthusiasts won't pay the bills. They need to appeal to those with loads of money but no taste. A case of Aston becoming a 'lifestyle accessory' rather than sports car contender?
