New UK Dash Camera's vid - the last clip, Connor, is a bit of a . Sat in L2 with nothing in L1, gets undertaken and cut-up, so decides to go full on bell-end and do the same thing as revenge, then get arsey and straddle both lanes all while bemoaning that the other guy is the prick.

They really are a special breed.

Same thing happened to me last week, old biddy passed me and started turning left, a few well chosen French phrases stopped her dead in the water.

If I hadn't braked I would have hit her....... mad

Scooter rider vs pedestrians.

Splitting opinions all over Facebook.

I'm on the side of the pedestrians.

Once you've got the keys, chuck them somewhere hard to get to or hand them to the nearest kid on a bike with the instruction to take them to the nearest police station.

Seems to be missing the incident that caused it. It sort of indicates the bike rider is vulnerable.... and the baying mob seem to adopt quite a bullying stance. Rider obviously scared for his safety... pushed to the ground, and what seemingly was pushed to ride into the wall. Not really surprised he tried to leg it.

Would the baying mob be so aggressive toward a proper big biker bloke? Probably not!
Always a lot of pedestrians around St Ives over the summer and is to be avoided. I have avoided st ives for years!
I was sort of hoping beardy was going to batter the bloke who nicked the keys!

However pretty st driving!!
I think you need to watch it again, he was pushed to the ground after he tried to run over the guy trying to get him to stop , plenty of witnesses saying he'd hit numerous cars and tried to drive away so the lack of footage is immaterial, he even hit somebody with his fishing kit as he pulled away

I think people were genuinely concerned he was going to speed off and possibly kill someone further up the street who wasn't aware a fisherman with obvious mental issues was tearing up the town.

I'd think he's in police custody by now

The man used the words "leave me alone" a number of times, this is a sign of distress from the rider.
It could be easily be argued that he feared his for his personal safety after been confronted by the man in the bright shirt and then surrounded by a group and was trying to make reasonable attempts to escape the situation.

Did the man in the bright shirt have the right to try and stop the rider, steal the keys etc, should he have not taken details and called the police ?

See above, yes.

Stopping such people is a duty we all have.

There’s another video floating about on Facebook that shows him scrapping his way down the side of a Subaru after the other cars were hit then making off.

Next time I fk somebody's property up, drive off without leaving details and then try and run them over when they try to stop me I'll use this excuse as well. rolleyes

I can't be arsed to check, but no doubt he has no tax, mot, insurance and probably no licence either, but hey leave him alone as it is stressing him out. laugh

Yes he does.

Noone is denying the biker did wrong - however our biker is obviously not all there. I think the man in the yellow shirt could have handled that a lot better, seeing as they already had his number. A simple call to the police would suffice.

I would like to see the vid of the events leading up to that fracas. If anyone has it they should post it!

I don't know how true it is but the guy in yellow, his mate who pushed him off the bike, and the guy on the steps had allegedly been in the boozer for some time just before this happened (I know someone who saw some of it unfold).

Edit: Found it- local news is ace! It is one of the videos on the page!! Look for someone taking a tumble!

If he's 'not all there' he shouldn't be on the road and I strongly doubt the bike is registered to the rider, so taking his registration is largely futile.

I'd have apprehended him too if he had damaged my vehicle or tried to run me over.

I think most people on here would do the same if it was their vehicle/wife/kids the rider had hit and then tried to ride away from the scene.

Just because he's a mentally ill tramp doesn't mean he should get away with causing damage to other peoples property.

Out of interest why do you doubt the registration?

And I maintain the good public would not have been so aggressive if the rider was not such an easy target.

Have you seen the earlier video? I hope there is more to what he has supposedly done but reports are he had already been assaulted..... I think most of us here would try and get away if that were us, regardless of fault.
