We also just missed 2x Carrera GT that were part of this group! Not bad.

One of the white 918s had chassis number #000 so assuming it's owned by Porsche.

Depends on what it is - it might be a replica of the coupe quattro that David Llewellyn drove on a few rallies, which was the same as this shell. Or actually might even be a real ex-rally coupe quattro. But you're correct that it's not a "proper" ur-quattro.

Actually now I look closer, there's obviously something going on with it as a coupe (whether 2wd or 4wd) would have four-bolt hubs, and that has five-bolt.

A 918 with the reg number 918S passed me last Wednesday on the A830 towards Arisaig, closely followed by a 991. Sadly no pics as I was driving, and for some reason couldn't quite keep up in my T5 camper.

That A830 is a fantastic road by the way.
