Just downloaded this from my phone.

Parked with two wheels on the kerb, check.
Parked on double yellow lines, check.
Parked in the middle of a junction, across the yellow box, check.
Hazards on, check.

That space they are sharing looks huge even for a P&C one!

That's an armoured van. He can't park far from the bank he's getting loot from or someone would nick it.

off topic,

Having not been able to drive for the last month (surgery) to come out for my first drive to see this, I feel somewhat angry. I wouldn't normally do this but to whoever they are that did this (I'm thinking possibly cyclist or tit with shopping trolley)

I hope you get _insert incurable ailment here_ and get trampled over by _insert large object here_ and fired directly into _insert celestial body here_

.

and breathe.

Could well be, but to park that close to another vehicle is just nuts, and incosiderate, is there a minimum car park space width in the UK I wonder?

And so the rot starts

Whats the word? twonker, personally I let OH out first, then reverse in with nearside as close to the end of the bay as possible.

Is reversing so difficult, visited a major Offshore Contractor last week in Aberdeen, they had a policy for reverse parking in force. No probs

This seems to be the new health and safety gimmick of the month - we're doing it too.

Personally I have always thought it to be better, as you park up, and reverse in, you are aware of things around you,, when you drive out, you can see all that that there is to see.

If you drive in, you have to reverse out very carefully as you cant see what is behind you.

But some drivers just cant reverse to save their lives. I have been reversing parking for over 40 years now.

I think if I didn't have to hand the car back in 10 months, I would've been less angry. but yeah I see your point yes
