Reminds me of the old plate on a black stealth evil Cerbera - BAD 541T

Thought it was pretty good actually and remember it pulling up at Le Mans in 20023/2003 having heard it gunning it from miles away. Seem to recall it was a French chap called Christof that owned it, anyone on PH remember (bearing in mind it was more of a TVR based site back then).

That can't be a real plate. It fits no British format whatsoever.
That's what I thought.

Still crappy, personalised and a plate though!
Oh, I quite agree. Just musing that it isn't even a crap plate. It appears to be no plate at all!

Back in the early 80s, frequent sight locally was a Metro in Beige with the reg-no BAD 80Y.

Yeap, remember seeing it at quite a few TVR events and it's still on a blue 4.5 Cerbera.

What's the grey line under the letters, surely that's not the plate maker's text running the full width - it almost looks like a shadow as if the 'fake' plate has been stuck over the real one?

Not possible surely? Doesn't fit standard AB12 CDE format or A123 BCD format.

A particularly half hearted effort in Bristol Airport Long Stay yesterday. It was only because it was obviously mis-spaced that I clocked it, and even then it took a few seconds to figure out what is was supposed to represent.

Terrible.
