Shows money talks with the Ferrari.
I'd like to know which TDO organised the trackday just so I can avoid as the Clio should have been blackflagged after the second incident let alone the forth or fifth.

OT but it always seems to be caged clios which never move over and do risky overtakes, closely followed by E36 BMW's.

Was it you overtaking that tractor + loads of cars that made it to the Daily Fail?
Nope wasn't me, just driving the same coloured Subaru.

At 1.31 looks like the driver is playing with his phone, could be wrong of course.

The HC rule about slowing down if necessary to allow the overtake to complete - does it apply to trucks?

This weeks UK dash cameras - compilation #34 (01/09/19)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfbLDo-7cb0

@7:14 was painfully inevitable. Rest of the compilation is, frankly, 10 minutes of piss poor observation and lane discipline.

Nice Porsche, shame it was speeding and had a narrow miss.

Watching him filtering at that speed terrifies me.

What does the highways code say about filtering? I was in lane 3 in some roadworks last week and a bike was filtering between lanes 2 and 3, beeping his horn if people wouldn't get out of his way. I had a van next to me and couldn't move further right due to traffic cones on my right side, so the biker couldn't filter through. Once I was past the van (there was still traffic in lane 2, lane discipline fans!) he had room to pass, and of course I got the coffee beans from him and a brake check for good measure as he went by...

The behaviour at 6 minutes or so in seems to be becoming more commonplace - ignoring red lights at pedestrian crossings.

I am fine with bikers filtering, but what he was doing wasnt really filtering, it was carrying on at a barely reduced speed despite standing traffic, then getting arsey if a driver doesn't anticipate you arriving at 40/50 between a row of cars, then doing that stupid engine rev. Its a lot to see in a small rear view mirror, lots of other big vehicles moving slowly and then the odd very small one darting between,

At that speed you are on top of a car making a lane change or whatever so quickly, so many as well seem to completely disregard and indicator and default to righteous indignation.

Nothing wrong with keeping going when it gets busy because you can fit through but it will be at a reduced speed, cars will change lane, rightly or wrongly but its the biker with his legs on the outside of his vehicle.

Get through, use your advantage and then give it some once past the blockage, or perhaps think is it worth the risk, am I in that much of a hurry ?

Most bikers seem to manage to filter, YouTube dashcam ones seem to be looneys,.

I used to have a rule of no faster than 10mph than the car(s) were travelling at. I also used to flash, used headlight, toot horn, with a wave of thank you afterwards

@7:14 - clearly wants to make sure their organ donor card doesn't go to waste (and the other biker at 5.04 who stopped and then went behind the car doing the 3 point turn).

My favourites though are a tie between the opening clip with the DCW in the Jeep setting off before the lights turn green so trying to hit the lads crossing, and getting their comeuppance by smashing into the Audi (who was an idiot themselves). However I think the highlight is the DCW at 6:53 who tries to make a point of driving straight at the blue car who shouldn't have entered the roundabout and as a result almost drives straight into a bollard - notable there is no audio for that clip.

The first clip is hilarious - jump a red light, having tried to frighten some kids off the crossing, only to find an equally knobbish knobber turns in front of you laugh

6:53 is great, classic target fixation!

Special mention as well to 0:48 for nearly driving into the back of a transporter instead of just overtaking it.

You forgot to mention that they then pulled out blind to overtake. DCWs, all of them.

Hmm, how can we improve these dash cam compilation videos? How about reading a description of what is about to happen just before it happens?
