Wonderful colour and no chrono pack! Very nice. Glad to see it's seen some use with those miles.Fast Bug said:
Awesome colour... I'd like a Singer in that colour please.stickylabels said:
Bit curveball this one. Always had a pongchang for the Aero 8 but have no experience with them. Anyone on here have any? Would need to move on the Cerb for it and that would hurt....(...a lot). Clearly a different driving experience, but a good one? Thoughts purlease..
sticky.
I can’t get past the boss-eyed headlamps. sticky.

I like them, and have had a short drive in one. It's quite different to the Cerbera, and you should check that you fit OK. Much more of a slower paced, wind-in-the-hair driving experience verses the racecar-for-the-road TVR. Great noise and very distinctive looks. Performance is pretty good, but I'd suggest it's a similar reliability/build quality experience to the TVR (be ready to have to nail bits back on regularly).
I prefer Pongchang... it resonates better with a Morgan.
Speaking with the Morgan man at Silverstone Classic, it sounds very much like the recent emissions laws are pretty much putting them out of business, a real shame, hopefully all those talented craftsman can be saved with some form of turbo 4 pot, but it seems the days of BMW V8 power and the classic +4 and +8 are sadly numbered.
Would love an old Plus 8 or Aero GT.

Maybe they could hybrid-ise them? But that would be a significant tear-up.Speaking with the Morgan man at Silverstone Classic, it sounds very much like the recent emissions laws are pretty much putting them out of business, a real shame, hopefully all those talented craftsman can be saved with some form of turbo 4 pot, but it seems the days of BMW V8 power and the classic +4 and +8 are sadly numbered.

Tread carefully, you may wish you had never asked what a Pongchang is...
Thought that might get things going a little.....I kinda like the headlights in an odd sort of way and had heard good things about the chassis when being designed 20+ years ago. I (am probably) wrong but think I remember no anti-roll bars were needed? As to build quality, yes hand made, but thought must be a few rungs up from TVR, maybe just wishful thinking.... and of course the Cerb is now sorned for winter as there is salt everywhere around here, idle hands etc.
Cheers

I notice they also mention the Combined fuel consumption in accordance with EU6 at the bottom of their blurb. Is this some form of legal requirement?Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
