their training deffo helps - not sure about power though ? generally 330d's right? so about 250hp and good traction
for whatever reason I know that mitsubishi evos are/have been sucessful in evading the police in chases and had a reputation for being perfect to escape
it looked like the most ground he gained was when he was doing 130mph along the a6
Sounds like a Golf R?for whatever reason I know that mitsubishi evos are/have been sucessful in evading the police in chases and had a reputation for being perfect to escape

this is a good watch
it's either a golf gti or a gtd, hard to see the badge at the end
makes me wonder what the best technique is to escape the police in a chase, a few more bhp would have helped him a lot though imo but that said he kept gaining a lead then the police car kept bringing it back
That's a great watch, surprisingly good driving from him - committed but not over the top.this is a good watch

No way you're getting away from them without it being too congested with traffic though - they've got more power and a world of training to rely on.

the one at 1m in looks like someone on the run with a stolen backpack knocking a granny over? Might have been better if the truck didn't brake...Had a close call on the way home from work, and upon watching the footage it was even closer than I thought. Was doing 70 and prepared to move back into lane 1 after the junction, checked my mirror to see only the lorry I'd passed, a car behind me and an empty slip road, signalled then started to move. But in that time a biker had already gone into lane 1 and was undertaking (which given the speed differential, I feel is fair to say). Very hard to see in the footage, but he does then go across to lane 3, back to lane 2 to undertake someone, then into lane 4, so pretty poor riding. But even then, I feel I should definitely have done better and watched the mirror as I was changing lanes.

Where did he come from? The main carriageway or the entry slip?
If main carriageway then yes, maybe you could've been a bit more aware of him but if he was hidden on the entry slip then hardly fair to blame yourself.
As a biker he should've been well aware of how st his riding was; 1. joining the carriageway at a vastly higher speed differential than established traffic, 2. being obscured from established traffic by the lorry, 3. undertaking established traffic right in their blind spot at exactly the point any half-decent motorist would be looking to re-join lane one.
At the speed he was going it's all too easy for even the most observant of drivers too have missed him given the positions of everyone.

I don't think you can feel bad about that, I assume he came on at the junction and wound on when he realised the gap was closing rather than braking.https://youtu.be/eoFxQXq0WTU
Bloody stupid.

There is. It's called "A modicum of ability". Unfortunately, God didn't tick that on the options list when that particular onanist came off the production line.Edited by Europa1 on Saturday 14th September 20:19
