So what car have you been obsessing about today?? (Vol 2)
Discussion
Had a chat with a Moroccan chap while having Summer tyres fitted today. He bought a Edizione Finale Lancia Delta Evo in 1996, sold it for next to nothing in 2001 and almost cried when I told him how much that car would be in the UK today.
Got me thinking about my Coupe 16V turbo again. I need to sell my Spider to make room and buy parts.

May have to p/ex the Puma, though, which I am reluctant to do after getting all the rusty bits sorted.

Getting my MX5 back on the road - its been sitting idle pretty much all winter, it and I need a drive
Oh and oddly, have been considering one of these as a runaround/second car for a while (depending on what our needs are at that time), found myself getting quite excited at the thoughts of driving something that can be flat out most places and still return 50mpg could be quite fun for runs to the shop, or nipping into town etc..

Christ on a bike! The Lotus sounds like a lot of batstcrazy fun!...http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-LOTUS-EXIGE-FERRARI-F...
... only one minor thing letting it down: what looks like a late 80's Vauxhall ignition key (if I'm being really picky)
My Seicento Schumacher.
Pondering if I should keep the car or sell it on.
The problem is it's nowhere near as good as I remember. The wheels are too heavy for the engine, once you get it going the car handles like a go-kart but it's not as nippy as the standard Seicento Sporting and pedestrian compared to the Cinquecento Sporting. The 1108cc Mpi engine hasn't got enough torque for the extra rotating mass. Limited edition but by no means rare enough to worry about as yet. Basically the same kit as the Abarth but with Schumacher stickers and sill protectors instead.
I have a 1242cc engine that I can drop straight in there for twenty-ish more bhp and fifteen foot pounds of torque but that would be faff and devalue the car to a collector later.
Keep and mothball it, keep and modify it so it's more purposeful or sell it?
Sorry if this comes across as a "keep or sell" post it's what is on my mind.
