Already posted in SAS spotted, but this is the rarest thing I think I have ever seen on the road.
Happen to see it whilst sitting in traffic so could not get a decent photo.
Turned around and went back, but it had left by the time I got there.

Perhaps falling foul of the rules slightly as it was on static display at the Dutch Ford Fan Day, but still....... wow!

Ford have done a bloody good job!

Easily the best looking of the bunch, I love the rear as well, that engine must be packaged very very well.

I think it looks great minus that central rear area. Even if its's all functional (assume it is), the box area around the exhausts just looks a bit odd
It's packaged like an LMP car so can forgive the box area for what is an amazing piece of road car design.

Isnt it basically just a re-packed race car hence the uproar over their win at LeMans this year?

IIRC, the class they won requires a number of cars to be sold per year to be allowed entry. The manufacturer's let them in 'for the good of the sport', despite the fact no customers cars will be delivered for some time....

I like to think I know a little about cars and supercars. I had to post that pic on Facebook to find out what the hell it was.
They made 7 convertibles. All in different colours, so I suspect that this is the one I saw.

I think you are right but it was also combined with the fact it started as a race car, then they downgraded it to a road car, rather than the other way around like all of the other GT cars

You are so very right - whilst chatting with the chap who brought it along I said to him ''if someone asked you to draw a glamourous '60s / '70s sportscar or grand tourer it would look just like this...'', he laughed and said that's pretty much what the owner said when he bought it!

It sounded fabulous as he was parking it up...
Would love a car that looks like that with modern underpinnings. But then again, finances allowed I'll daily drive it as is.

I've seen that Veyron in Alderley Edge and photos of it around Knightsbridge. Sounded superb. Saw a 911 R (white/red stripes) at Porsche Leeds earlier. It went from the prep unit to the showroom with a cover over it in the space of a minute. No chance of a picture.
