Down in Cornwall last week, spotted this in the little village we stayed in;

Was like that for the best part of three days too.

Most odd. Went down the post office/shop, where most people park on the DYL's on the corner, or blocking the dropped kerb or often or not in the ONE disabled space, so they dont have to walk too far to the shops. Today, no cars in sight, so parked up, went in to post a parcel, in one que was a bloke with his road tax document in his hand.

As he was being served, I was served at the other counter. As I got back in my car, the abandoned 4 x 4 was still there. Then the guy who was renewing his road tax, came out and got in the drivers seat.

Just most odd, then again he was a sporg. biggrin and its a VW.

Park Street car park in Cambridge yesterday afternoon. It showed 4 spaces remaining. I was greeted with this after finally getting to the top floor:

If that were the last space I'd park across the rear of the Audi.

You would probably get clipped by the cars coming down the ramp and turning (their) left...

Or possibly block someone in an oposite space. To wrongs dont make a right and all that.

Martin Clunes badly parked.

That's hilarious! Yes he shouldn't have parked there, however the car park did appear to be full.
And, as he reversed out, it looked like a space marked out for cars

TBH its a stupid move but clearly hes not doing it to to be closest to the shop and he wasn't rude or impolite - don't think it necessitates the C word being deployed (in public) - especially by loppy haired L platers in front of little old ladies who only want to know about the next series of Doc Martin hahaha

I hate people parking in bike bays - but it does look like there were few alternatives. (Can't understand the car jealously, it's only an old ugly arse 6 series!).

L-plate biker was a tool, though.

Clunes is a . I don't think for one minute there was no car spaces in that car park. But he is good on Doc Martin.

I think on this occasion he was BMW man behaving badly.

Does this qualify? It was a few months ago. I count 16 badly parked cars in this one image alone.

My car was the Passat - obviously, because I'm not a little girl and therefore don't park nose-first.

Nothing wrong with parking nose first, especially if you're going to be putting a load of shopping into the back of the car

This isn't a B&Q car park, why would I be loading any shopping into the car?

You implied that parking nose first always constitutes bad parking - I simply pointed out that there are times when unobstructed access to the rear of the car is required

We had this debate on here before, got rather long winded. I always park nose first at the supermarket for this very reason. There seems to be a whole sub division of driving gods that think you must reverse into a space or you are a moron. Little penis I think, trying to compensate

That's completely coincidental.

For balance, not just driving gods - there seemed to be some site-specific instances where it was a health & safety requirement.

And some specific instances where reverse parking would hinder healthy & safety.
