Oh God... yes, I've seen that offender somewhere on here before.
Cars like that should be left in barns.
....and the barn then set on fire.

What was it even, originally? A Targa? They didn't make cabrios in 74
Edit: read the description now, yes a Targa, so basically how much is a 70s Targa shell worth, without the rollover hoop

Posted this on the overpriced cars thread but thought it fitted here as well tbh:

A very, period / of it's time, Max Power generation 205 GTI with what appears to be a PH1 306 front end & 106 GTI rear bumper grafted / flushed in.

Edit - pics:

To be fair it looks like the work has been done to a good standard but it remains horrible.
Yet the list of outstanding jobs on the car suggest it's been done to a pretty low standard using lots of filler and painted without correct prep being done.

And the "easy fix" thing always winds me up just like the "just needs a quick clean" does when people are selling things.

advert bad bits said:
Bodywork - Passenger side front door, paint split where door handle was.
O/S front spoiler, paint bubbled
Joint between front wings and windscreen scuttle, filler shrunk.
Some bubbling in the V crease in the bonnet

Headlining at rear window needs fitting to a better standard

Instruments - Outside air temp giving false reading

Driver door sticking when opening on remote, (easy fix)

Yup, MK1 going by the aerial position, I doubt they'd move that too.

Might divide opinion this one: a 1979 Lotus Eclat for sale on eBay with Esprit front and rear and skirts. It actually looks ok, but is it right?
