I just spotted '2 S' on what I think was a black Nissan Navara in Manchester City Centre... Sold for £9.4k in 1993, can't see it registered to a car on the DVLA site though...
Considered to be 1 of at least 3 fake 1x1's on the road at the moment.
When you say 'fake' - as in, cloned?

Blue Ford Transit van spotted, midly chavved up cruising slowly around a housing estate with the illegally spaced plate "WHO 8 HER" really good for all wannabe Hannibal Lector cannibals.

Yes and no. 2 S sits on retention, as does 1 K. 1 F sits on the same black focus as it has done for many years, yet many pictures show it on a Audi. My understanding is that the fake/cloned 1 K and 1 F are used by the same family in..... Birmingham

Plenty around Leeds this week:

JAZ 2 on an Audi S5.
1 LEO on a Merc C250 Convertible.
51 AN on a Renault Koleos.
789 U on an XC90 - local plate I think.

USA 3 on a white Range Rover
a bit OT but since it was halloween last night I watched the original version of "The Omen".

Gregory Peck was the US ambassador to the UK and had a Daimler with USA 1 as the registration

I checked on USA 1 and USA 2 but they don't come up on the DVLA site.

Any idea if they actually might be used by the USA embassy in the UK in some way ?

USA 1 on Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Drophead Coupe by H.J.Mulliner. This Rolls-Royce was never an embassy car but was leant by a private owner for the visit of President Eisenhower in 1959. He had requested an open car which the government didn't have, and they borrowed this model and had USA 1 put on it for the visit. One car that was an embassy car that displayed this registration was a black Checker Motors Checker Cab which was recorded on tv news in 1963.

Even if it isn't, based on that spacing it's heading straight off to the other thread hehe

I don’t think it’s a real No plate. More likely a Brexit statement.
