It's fair enough fronting a dodgy cleaning operation selling mouldy ex minicabs, but this place has some serious, eye wateringly top end motors. What enthusiast in their right mind would buy from here given their reputation?
Happy to be corrected, but would imagine the sort who have bundles of cash to 'get rid off'. Just because you're a wrong 'un doesn't mean you might not like cars.

Our taxi in Mauritius was a Toyota Wish. A people carrier like all others but I'd never heard of it.

That's a new one on me. I assume south american Chevrolet rather than north america?

I remember these from my years in Germany...

Not sure if the UK got the 2 door Cavalier. Well, apart from these...

Edited:
I think that very early on there was a mk2 Cavalier two door, but not a three door

I Googled it and found this, so I was right!

No, we only got the four door. The Americans got the two door as they love 2 door cars.
Shame really.

Not sure if Opel ever sold the 2 door Ascona here.

I think the only two door/three door mk2 Cavalier in the UK was the convertible, as you say. I don't remember seeing any two door saloons or three door hatches
They were mentioned in the very early brochures, not sure how many were actually sold though.

You're right. Very rare car I think.

Straight after posting it I had a vague recollection of my grandad's neighbour having one a long time ago so I looked it up

The 2 door was part of the launch line up but quietly dropped a year or so into production.

While on the topic of Cavaliers - I wrongly thought all MK2 convertible (obviously 2 dr) Cavaliers in the UK were known as Calibras..

..I was mixing it up with this Cavalier Calibra.. no great surprise it looks like its passed through the dubious multistory car sales of the weird and wonderful:

Wish I could find it online - but I'm sure Maxpower did a feature on 3 Mk2 Cavaliers

Calibre was a trim level in Cavaliers

Calibra was the different model, the coupe based on the same underpinnings as the mk3 Cavalier

Don't forget the estate that was added later. I don't think the rest of Europe got them, so possibly a Holden-ism?

Yeah, the estate version was from the Holden Camina (I think that was the name?) and it was a Holden thing

ETA; just checked and it was Holden Camira

My old man had two Cavalier SRi's.

Loved them

But to this day, the fact it says Cavalier Vauxhall on the back and not Vauxhall Cavalier still does my head in.

They had a very cavalier attitude to badge placement.

Despite Reliant putting the full name on one side, in the correct order, people still call them Robin Reliants.

It seems to be generally accepted that it's Jasper Carrott's fault.
