Harry tempted with the 599 at Silverstone. First time I have heard him say that in one of these walk rounds. Looks the business.

Possibly the worst car-related YT video ever. An utter embarrassment, and the giggling attention we in the passenger seat was the cherry on the top of this particular st sandwich.
The only way to stop this content being made is to stop watching it. If it gets views for whatever reason, it will continue!

Yeah I saw that, really interesting car and very rare. Probably a decent buy at the estimate? I wonder what would be a better proposition - GTO versus manual 599?

Harry isn't the only one tempted by that 599. Quite a few cars took my fancy in that upload. Did notice that prices seem to be softening and wonder if the car prices will come down more as EV's start to take hold and ICE cars become more of the dirty nuisance that seem to be the current trend.?

It was pretty cringe-inducing. And whoever that guy is the passenger seat looks the type to pay for sex.
Indeed, his laugh was well, nonce-like.

When you thought Tim couldn't outdo himself he comes along and drops his latest upload with B14's Veneno and insane car collection. Pretty sure this video will be your highest viewed for the year and glad you were you able to film this unicorn which might be the last time we see on the streets.

I bailed on that podcast very quickly. I think because I'm not a big racing fan.
The frequent use of the term gentleman racers made me feel quite unwell. hehe
Yes, very quickly became a posh boy racers circle jerk. I listened to the end, and I have to agree, that Podcast is all about Harris.

Although I will say that while the first few have been very good, I am not really up for another motoring journalist coming on to tug each other off about test drives and launch events gone by while all ritualistically bashing modern vloggers. That was getting tedious.

Unfortunately what becomes the biggest video isn't down to something one can so easily control, but rather the algorithm games or having a genuine viral bit of news.

I have 10 videos so far in the 9 months of 2019 that have done 1m views but by far and away the largest is the Bugatti La Voiture Noire launch piece from March at the Geneva Motorshow which is at 8.8m and counting.

I'd expect the Veneno video to do 400-600k over the first week or two, then maybe if the algorithms pick it up it might get closer to 1m but I'm not so sure it will break into 7 figures.

New Collecting Cars podcast without Chris Harris at the helm. Not a fan, didn’t hold my interest at all, this Sam guy just isn’t that interesting. I think they’re going to realise very quickly that Harris chatting with his mates is what made this podcast good and they’ll lose listeners rapidly if Harris is sidelined. I’d much rather one a month as they have been with excellent guests and banter than more often with that other bloke.

On the subject of podcasts, STG BTG DTW hehe latest podcast was quite good. Mentioned it’s only September and DTW has already cost over £100,000. Yikes.
I can't understand why they thought Salmon Cock would be a good host on this. He seems a nice enough chap and is professional enough but as soon as he said he wasn't that interested in, and new little about road cars I just thought "what can this guy really offer the average listener?".

Not much.

Last couple of car guys videos have been rubbish. It's turned into the Ferrari channel and this approach of trying to spec modern Ferraris to try to emulate classics just isn't working.

Tim, wasn't B14s Veneno originally Verde Singh which was sent back to Lambo to have it painted in matte black? I remember someone posting about it over on the Lambo forums a couple years back.

Currently enjoying 'salvage rebuilds uk' and the work he's doing on a Range Rover Sport with a broken engine.

Me too! He seems a genuine bloke who knows what he's doing. His Ferrari build is interesting too. He is a good example of how a channel can gain followers quickly despite (to his own admission) him not being skilled at video production.

I watched a few of his videos back to back then lost interest. I was wanting to see him actually doing repair work but him just rambling trying to get over 10 minutes got boring quick (he commented on getting over 10mins in a few videos). The sound quality (wind noise) also drove me mental in a few videos.

Copy and paste...maker X launches a new Supercar that has the influencer brigade gushing with fake enthusiasm getting one wraped in fancy clingfilm or peelable rubber paint and claiming its the best thing ever to roll on four wheels, I don't know about anyone else but I'am bored with it to the point of not watching them anymore...and the hyper excitment when spotting a Piss-ta while driving around the same bit of London is excruciatingly painful to watch.

Youtube is full of interesting car people and entertaining content I've just had enough of the influencers and their Supercars.
