OK, it's low mileage, but it should be, it hasn't been driven for 10 years at least. What the hell would you do with it if you bought it? It's not even the 'desirable' model of the range.

And reading 'yes, just 5400 miles!!!!!!' in the ad that many times made me want to poke my own eyes out.

Shame the interior doesn't look as well preserved as the exterior, especially for only 89k...

The mismatched cheapo tyres (Wanli/Federal/Dunlop) are all a bit of a warning sign on a car like that as well.

I love it when people tell you how much the 'cherished' plate is 'worth'. It is very simple to put it on retention and sell it yet they never do......

The guy is deluded.

Except he can't change plate over as it has no mot.


The car is a breaker due to gearbox spec and engine it's not as dear as you might think... Try and source a manual box for one of these!

To be honest from the pictures it hasn't got the usual E39 rust which is a bonus and if the Alpina Alloys and a few other bits are genuine they could be sold for a few quid.

It's a bit over priced but you'd need to see it first and get it tested to see the failure sheet.

Fix car with plate money. Sell for about 3-4k in good condition. (if an honest car)

I could be out of touch here, maybe it is market value these days but someone is asking 6k for a 1990 318 that looks very unloved, the paint is really flat and there were bits of trim hanging off the front bumper. Seems a strong price considering the owner doesn't show it any love.
