I stumbled across this image somewhere else..
Have we had it before?

The address on the side of the truck reads York Road and looks like "Kings X" maybe, which would fit with an N7 postcode. Although I'm not aware of a York Road in that area (York Way certainly)

The Hackberry General Store Arizona ,visited on a Route 66 trip a few years back in my C5 Corvette.
I think the pumps may still have been working but did nt want to risk a fill up.

Driving from Houston to San Antonio TX today - Buc-ee's Gas Station...

Probably 60 gas pumps

Several hundred visitors here today

Inside the shop - slightly more choice than the usual bag of crisps and a Mars bar...

Used a couple old filling stations in the past to take some pictures infront of.

We were out for the day in Dumfries and Galloway, came across this place.

I've seen churches used as homes/pubs/offices. But never a petrol station.

Somewhere deep in Scotland, but not far from Loch Katrine if memory serves, I came across a one pump station in the middle of nowhere. A narrow virtually one-track road, and no other houses in sight. I was in a hurry so had no time to stop and take a photo sadly.

Spotted this little garage in Lifton the other day. I usually drive past in the dark and had never noticed it, but had to go past in daylight and only saw it as someone was filling up

This is a great stop off on Route 66! Sadly the red Corvette out front has gone now but the good news is that one of my number plates is nailed to the ceiling! biggrin (ST57 FUN)

I saw this place on a recent trip to Scotland, there was a van parked outside which made a decent photo impossible so hopefully this link will work - https://goo.gl/maps/VuoTJe1YpzdKfsJ56

In Tarbert.

This is a dealership in Passau, founded in 1934. It's been closed since the early 1970s, and untouched since the founder died in 1987.

Two different galleries from the press in 2015:

Some more smaller galleries, showing historic and 2015 pictures in comparison:

There's an interview with the founder - from 1986, also showing the same building and his collection https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7f2MbGJAog
