It looks like a cross between US and USSR saloons of the 1970s. I like it

Slightly over budget, but much nicer than the Montego everyone's salivating over. Wonderful colour.

That is rather lovely. This thread is not healthy for me.
This is beautiful.

On the magazine cover question, it's the VX220 which I find myself thinking about, I think partly because it ticks some boxes that my 107 doesn't.

Yes, this, please! Second would be the Vauxhall (it's the wrong TVR!).

The car this belongs to is out of budget at 15, and is either mis-badged or poorly described, but how about this for a super interior?

Fantastic interior. Rubbish engine.

I'm sure someone here has one with a proper engine?

No under-bonnet shots, but it's badged 320.

I was out in mine today - that 6 cyl 320 is an absolute peach of an engine, with a great noise under hard accleration.

The 220 is probably more than adequate, but cars like this need sumptuous engines, not humdrum 4-pots.

Bought an early facelift 2.5 off a fellow called Desmond in Birmingham more than twenty years ago, as he was buying a Cab - I assumed a convertible 944 rather than Hackney carriage. The cab is a super looking car, but I concur that the 944 is better with a roof. Desmond's was my second one. I ran a late pre-facelift one into the ground first. It was a brilliant motor and I'd have an early 80s one over any later version in a heartbeat. The wheels, the dash, the front end, all contribute to a really unique look.
That wouldn't be Desmond O'Toole by any chance?...

All of them, but 2, 1, 3 in that order. 2 is lovely.

Just by having V12s #1 and #3 grab my attention more than #2

Well, I'm 6' 4", so all I can say is I know I fit in an MGB and the 325; other than that I'd cheerfully have any of them height permitting... except the Moggie (unless it's a Fiat twin cam or V8 one wink ).
You would fit in the TVR. Peter Wheeler didn't make cars he couldn't drive himself, and he was 6' 6".

OK, it's a whisker over budget - but this beauty needs a wider audience of appreciative followers of the genre

A lovely, Titanite red, C43 wagen.

It's from a well respected garage in MB circles and if I didn't already have an W124 E36 AMG I'd be in it!
Bizarrely, there are only 11 of these, and three of them are on autotrader....something never looks quite right (to my eye) with the slope of the tailgate.

The red one is the best colour but this silver one sneaks under thread budget and has lower miles http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...

This one is quite a bit over thread budget at £14,995 and is white http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...
.
Personally, if you want a fast old Merc estate, it absolutely, positively has to be an E55....something like this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...
I should point out that I'm biased though, as I've just bought one, very similar to this...I think this one would be perfect for Oa....
