I'd definitely allow a little break of the rules for that plate. Given it's only a mild misspacing with comedic effect.

The exception that proves the rule, someone who doesnt take life too seriously and has a sense of humour, I always reckon that private plates are like tattoos, the concept is fine but most are st and about 1 percent actually work as intended. Ok, its mis spaced but its still readable.

I think a way to dissuade chav plating would be to say that everyone who gets caught with one gets a free check into their finances and business dealings as I think there is probably a strong correlation between butchered plates and other forms of illegal activity, tip of the iceberg in some I bet. Not everyone up to no good keeps a low profile.

Not sure if this belongs on here, the good plates thread, or the council thread .... But in Liverpool I've spotted one of those "VIP" Merc Viano taxis knocking around wearing BO55 THA. To the natives of the area, they probably think Tha really is Boss, la

LO53 RBY on a 3 series estate.

It was mis-spaced to read LO53R BY

The car was definitely lowered, but was being driven very sensibly on the M25 near the M1 junction.

I presume that it's intended to read "Loser - Bye" as the driver beats you in a traffic light GP - but that's just a guess from me.

Ignoring the plate, I love the look of that!

Got a hint of an old Chevy Bel Air with that colour scheme. Weird on a BMW, but kinda cool.
