So some people are allowed to park badly because of the type of car that they drive?
Yep, well done!SlimJim16v said:
There are ways to park defensively without being a . Or just take the shed.
He isn't being a ****, he's looking after his hard earned property as other people won't. If some of those who have to drive cheap crap would treat other people's property with care then there would be no need to park a proper car like that.I park my car like that everywhere I go and **** anyone who chooses to complain!

Then again there are the ste parking by Range Rovers, Porkers et al who just haven't got a clue how to park.
No photos unfortunately, but a trip to the local shopping centre today made me wonder how the fk so many people have difficulty parking small cars in reasonably sized spaces. I had no problems fitting my Frontera ( yes, I know ) in between two similarly sized cars, turning straight in and lined up between the lines, then stood watching a bloke take 4 attempts to get an Aygo into a space the same size - and he still ended up at an angle
Having witnessed this, while walking to the shops I noticed several small cars which had been parked equally badly, yet in general larger cars were OK - even Range Rovers !

I often wonder why some drivers just have no idea whatsoever how ro reverse, yet someone gave them a pass mark when they took their test, some tards who have no idea what a box junction is, or when a bus lane isnt a bus lane.Having witnessed this, while walking to the shops I noticed several small cars which had been parked equally badly, yet in general larger cars were OK - even Range Rovers !
But it keeps this thread going.

Nothing major, just my sense of humour.
Watched the Merc slowly reverse in the space, a thought crossed my mind, "Doh...what's that funny bleeping noise when I reverse, oh well better check it into the dealers".
I thought that car park looked familiar, pretty sure this is the same place, somewhere in Aberdeen? A picture of some even worse parking of mine from about 4 years ago. We had the RR for the day and were out for a drive, the wife jumped out to take a picture in a random deserted car park I pulled in to. Not quite parked but makes for a good picture for this thread Watched the Merc slowly reverse in the space, a thought crossed my mind, "Doh...what's that funny bleeping noise when I reverse, oh well better check it into the dealers".

If you have the means to buy such a car, why not spend a few thousand pounds on something like a Fiesta, which will be so much better for domestic car duties it might as well be in a different league. Parking ostentatious cars in a selfish manner says much about the driver, who shouldn't be surprised when they return to a damaged car. Be considerate to other people whether you are in your fancy VW or whatever it really is underneath, queuing for a pint or waiting to be served in a shop.
I think you're missing the point, if other people were considerate then there would be no need to park like that, but they're not, they're ****s and give not one s**t about anyone else's property therefore the consideration lecture from you is rather moot. As for having to buy a second car to combat the acts of the selfish cockends... yeah that's logical and totally acceptable lol! cb1965 said:

You say that people are inconsiderate and selfish and yet youre happy to take up 2 spaces when parking?I understand perfectly. I had a nice car that I always wanted, an integrale. It had 1 or 2 dings when I got it, but ended up with dings in every panel on both sides.
Parking at work was the problem, s.
I got a shed for weekdays, which got used more and more, the integrale less and less. I now only have a shed.
Park in 2 spaces, you're a . While I wouldn't do it, someone will show their displeasure one day.
