This group is seemingly where all the C124PPY plate owners congregate...

I actually appreciate all of the cars with C124PPY plates since it gives me a nice warning about the likely behaviour of the driver.

Might as well have a neon sign on the roof.

Yeah, that works for me too. Pretending you've got a good plate when you really haven't is a very aspirational and pretentious thing to do.

As you'd expect we've got an abundance of C124PPY plates here in Essex, almost invariably on either arrogantly driven drug dealer spec. Range Rovers or blinged up German troup carriers and that'll tell you everything you need to know about the sort of people who have them.

It baffles me how they can go out in it and not expect to get pulled over. Mind you, I saw them blindly ignore two plates right in front of them at the weekend.

Yes, completely true. A plate such as those featured on this thread tells you everything you need to know about the owner, i.e. they are a massive tt.

Police just don’t seem generally bothered, too much else to deal with. I’d expect it to be brought up in Addison to another offence, speeding/phone use etc, but I think the likelihood of getting pulled for a plate only must be very low.

Can't remember, but it was a lot more than I did for YOU 105E

Which is also on retention I suspect. I stopped at about 20k for that, there were two others who looked hungry, but it stopped fairly soon after. Naturally had I kept going, of one of them really, really wanted it, it could have got a lot higher, hence I always stick to a limit, even if it means frustration.
TOO 510W sold for £13,300 + 6% three years ago.
