Not outrageously modified, but would be a great weekend car I reckon.

That's great, and doesn't even seem that bad value given the going rate for E21s these last few years. I remember I bought a ropey one for £500 back in 2007ish, albeit a 316.

So much style - absolutely love it.

As you say - not a crazy price.. I was very tempted with the Cortina that was running an S2000 engine and gearbox for £20K... but plenty of change and just as much (if not more) style to be had here.

seen this?
Ferrari 512 BBi Koenig with 650 ps so its still a supercar today, I also think the coachwork looks good, compared to some of its other Koenig wide body cars.

1981 Ferrari 512 BBi by world famous 'Koenig' !!!
Ordered by an American from new, chassis 37131 received a street legal 'Title' in 1981 when delivered new in the USA.
In 2010, with only 35.000 km, it was sold to Europe and became part of a great Ferrari-collection in Belgium.
Its the one and only with a fully upgraded engine V12 TWINTURBO with 650 HP and manual 5 speed gearbox,
a true engineering masterpiece of those days, F1 power to hit the road !
(modified with different pistons, camshaft, exhaust system, twin turbo's, strengthened gearbox and magnesium wheels...in 1981...)
So, this is for sure the ultimate "Eighties Ferrari" to have... !
And yes, its also one of the most exclusive cars you could buy in the early eighties for sure, think like ABBA or Queen live-playing in your own living-room ...

not a bad asking price for such.

Couldn't they drop the gap in the arches by an inch or two? Don't want it stanced but it looks ready for Paris Dakkar at the moment..Lovely otherwise!

Arrr.. Didn't notice it was an auction and not a 'buy it now' price... Now upto 16K

I *know* it's a pile of crap - but I like it (can you actually like a badly modified car?)

Love the simplicity of design of the E21, though I’m not keen on the front spoiler on this one. Otherwise, lovely

A white BMW with gold wheels and a dodgy looking spoiler and everyone loves it?!
