Not outrageously modified, but would be a great weekend car I reckon.

That's great, and doesn't even seem that bad value given the going rate for E21s these last few years. I remember I bought a ropey one for £500 back in 2007ish, albeit a 316.
So much style - absolutely love it.

As you say - not a crazy price.. I was very tempted with the Cortina that was running an S2000 engine and gearbox for £20K... but plenty of change and just as much (if not more) style to be had here.
Arrr.. Didn't notice it was an auction and not a 'buy it now' price... Now upto 16K
Shame the door has been painted the wrong colour/not blended and they gave up trying to line it up, that swage line would piss me off everyday

I *know* it's a pile of crap - but I like it (can you actually like a badly modified car?)

Weirdly this popped up on Instagram today. Stretched MR2. Should make it a bit less lethal I guess.

Oh dear lord.. 'just because you can - doesn't mean you should.'

The panel gap will suck wildlife and small children into it!

If they had done a T bar for front and back - that would have been novel.

As for it reducing the snap oversteer... I think its more likely to just 'snap'

No turbo or SC on it, so unless it's got another B16/18 in the boot then, no way!
