The one in that link is turboed, the one in the pic above is not (and all the better for it Imo)I think it's actually pretty decent and looks to be done to a standard that many could only dream off. If it's been a Merc AMG or something equally posh as a base car and not a Corsa, I suspect many would be fawning over it. It's also not in the UK and thus tastes and styles are dramatically different to ours, which are on the whole... a bit samey and dull.

If it was a "worthy" base car which had been modified like that I think it would be getting a far more negative response if anything because people would be offended that the owner had "ruined" a decent car rather than an old Corsa. For whatever reason, Stretched tyres, chrome rims and massive speaker installs is never going to be popular on PH, however well executed the modifications are.

I'd paint the carbon panels and fit amber lenses but apart from that it looks great and must be a blast to drive. Given the quality and condition that seems like a bargain really. Davie said:

I disagree, why would a better base car make it more better? You would just have a badly modified nice car.Expense and workmanship doesn't automatically mean the end result is good.

I don't know, but it's certainly wrong that I know that they're Yokohoma 048's by looking at it! ETA lovely car. That's the first one on here I've clicked on a link with a genuine interest in buying.
