Sure I have seen that going around the ring on one of the spotters videos
There was indeed one on the Ring last year (although not this exact one). They are a strange concept, but it's classed as a microcar which German kids can drive from the age of 16 (or 15 in some German states).

Anyone dug out the regs to see how close two wheels can be to class as a single wheel?
Is it the same rule that applies to dual truck wheels?

"Directive 2002/24 / EC defines double wheels, which are legally regarded as one wheel, as “two wheels mounted on one axle, where the distance between the centers of the tire contact areas on the road is less than 460mm"

Those two in the Fiat look as though they may be independently sprung?
460mm looks remarkably like 18 inches - which country wrote the rule?

Given that wheels are measured in inches all over the world, I don't suppose it matters.

If I had to guess, I'd say Germany wrote it.
The Fiat uses the same spring mounts & shock positions as the original trailing beam. Effectively this is a single trailing beam too, as there is a crossmember in front of the wheels.

By the way, these have been well covered on this very thread last year: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

I'm fairly sure that the regs mean wheels mounted on one axis, as in the front or rear axle weight of a vehicle.

Given it only has 20bhp, it won't be using much fuel.

Whats the wing mirror looking at?
Passenger side/wheels of the car, for parking up against the kerb.
Handy for Jazz owners of all types?
Is it a popular aftermarket fitment
Honda also rebadged some Isuzus for the USA, too. The Honda Passport even survived two generations...

Honda's upscale North American brand Acura got in the action by offering a tarted-up version of the Trooper as the Acura SLX.

At the risk of blowing any credibility I may have accrued in my time here, I really like that. Has a tatraesque vibe!!

How did a company like Honda end up licensing so many of the worst cars ever designed?

Oldsmobile Firenza https://poconos.craigslist.org/ctd/d/kearny-1988-o...

US market, based on the same 'J body' platform as the mk2 Vauxhall Cavalier. It came up on a Facebook page, I thought the doors looked a bit like the Cavalier and Wikipedia confirmed it https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_J_platform

You could get the Oldsmobile with a 2.8 V6 though, the top Cavalier engine was the 2.0 4 cylinder. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oldsmobile_Firenza

Is that really an offical kit? Ford's RS styling wasn't necessarily more subtle, but it generally looked a lot more professional.

Yep

I remember when they launched that kit. It’s not done any favours by not having the larger accessory wheels, as seen on the brochure.
