Well, to be fair, the front doesn't look too bad. The skirts look like they came off a completely different car...

Early 90's Ford RS styling parts were like that, there was a similar style kit for the mk3 Fiesta Si, this one was a production model, not an RS option.

I can remember the ad for them. Girl who used to be on Grange Hill drove hers to Paris to deliver something her boss had forgotten, or something like that. Ah yes, here it is (nice little dig at Nicole in her Clio too!)

I wonder if that Scorpio RS kit was designed by the person who designed the final hideous bloated-frog-eyed edition Scorpio that killed it off. The bumper and radiator intake area looks particularly blobby.

How did a company like Honda end up licensing so many of the worst cars ever designed?
They weren't bad at all and certainly nowhere near "the worst cars ever designed"

That’s not a body kit. That was the car.

The SI was a 1600 and was the cooking model. It replaced the XR2i and the RS Turbo because they were becoming uninsurable.

Good one!

I'm sure on a recent thread someone showed that there's a recent or current JLR model that used them for the seats

I’m sure I’ve seen them on the back seat of a Velar

Not the car itself, but the official RS bodykit. Can't say it's one of their best moments......

Is that really an offical kit? Ford's RS styling wasn't necessarily more subtle, but it generally looked a lot more professional.
Yep

Pointless, IMHO. I owned a Scorpio 2.9i 4x4. It was not the type of car you'd try chucking through a series of bends!
