But.. isn't that a classic Nismo style bonnet vent? If you ask me the Nismo bonnet is acceptable, if there's some performance to back it up.
Other than that, the body work looks well done but I just don't understand why.. if anything the bonnet is ok but the E46 bit is the tasteless part tongue out
And the stancing is, as always, daft.
Just because its made by NISMO doesn't mean it looks good, Not with the e46 front anyway IMO,
I've known lads the done stuff like this because they tipped a car and parts were expensive so just used what was in the yard, Front conversions are common on S-bodys, always putting 180sx fronts on because S15 lights are expensive ect, This would be a bit more difficult but same idea,
It looks cool, wouldn't be a bad car, its a funky idea but as is, It would be a trailer-queen(over here), and It would look better original so it was pointless, so wouldn't be for me, interesting if nothing else IMO.

There was a thread on that car in the classics section earlier this year.

Personally, I think whoever did that to an e-type should be taken outside and shot in the back of the head, but some people seemed to think there was little wrong with it. Apparently it has XKR running gear.

Yarp! If it still looked like a e-type maybe, but why alter a piece of motoring history? the guy that's responsible should be fed to a Jaguar(the ones with teeth)

Q. How many tumble drier drums does it take to ruin an Audi A7?

I think that car was in this thread ages ago and the builder popped up. IIRC, he didn't really set out to defend it but did explain it. If my memory isn't playing tricks, it was too far gone to make a sensible restoration and he was interested in what could be achieved with modern running gear. Again, IIRC, he is a proper restorer and has saved loads of e-types.

It that case, well done to the guy. However, those wheels look really out of place. Something a bit more subtle would look way better.

E46 front grafted on to a Nissan Silvia S15. I think bits of this possibly belong in the 'decently modified' thread, but the bizarre paint job, tea tray on the bonnet and stanced wheels/stretched rubber tip it into this one I think. Over to you guys...
What the hell is wrong with the S15 front, they look wonderful as they are?
