Cheers, but why is Reddit so determined to make me use the app it won't even let view most links? I get the option of the app or returning to a home page... And the option of the app or a home page again.

On Reddit swap the 'www' in the address with 'old'.

It will send you to the old format Reddit page, without the app/home page prompt popping up every 5 seconds.

Works, for now.

I wasn't taught that at GCSE English...and I did take it, and did do (A I think)

If it helps I never learned about AFOREST in either of the English GCSEs either (or indeed AFRQESTROT, if they aren't trying so hard to squeeze a mnemonic out of it ), and I was in the advanced class cos I are well good at Ingerlish.

It could well be something that has been introduced to the National Curriculum more recently, or it could be something encouraged by one of the exam boards but not the others.

Many moons ago, in the 70s in fact, some regular van driving user of the Mersey tunnel was in the habit of deliberately knocking cones at the entrance over like that. After a while, staff thought it would be fun to fill the end one with concrete. O how they laughed. Van driver rather less amused.
