Agreed. Don't like the wheels, the colour, the 500 isn't bad but obviously not as "proper" as it could be. I think I could settle for the broad, mind.

There is so much about this image which should make me run a mile. Yet I suspect I wouldn't run at all but rather loiter suspiciously for far too long. I'd forgive a white Merc on naff wheels with a dodgy rear reflector and plat for those heels. I started following this Instagram page recently. I've returned to the Werthers for another look. Pre-COVID it would probably have been sub-2, but it's nonetheless a nice enough thing, albeit over-priced.

Would make a perfect little daily I'd have thought, with low-enough mileage to perhaps become an appealing classic in years to come. Some beige slacks and white slip-ons would complete the perfect look.
