Plastic logo covers on that 1300 have seen some action

The double headlight GTV is my favorite iteration.

Youngtimer Podcast Meeting Maasvlakte 20-05-2024

The Netherlands have quite a vibrant car scene and I see more and more young ones dropping by at car meets

C&C regular Mikey brought his 964 RWB tribute.

Roel brought the right Youngtimer to this meeting: original Renault Twingo is a jewel and in my eye an R4 successor.

Discussion: why a Busso when a TS is weight distribution perfection?

More of the Dutch Octane Magazine Cars & Coffee 06

All went quiet when this very rare AMX/3 built by Bizzarrini entered the grid. Only five were built. Insanely cool

Speed8 Classics is a Belgium specialist which is particulary interested in cars touched by Bizzarrini.

Profile has a touch of the 'Miura' sketches Touring did in 1966, and also the P538 comes to mind.

Citroen CX Prestige Turbo II in a fantastic red.

It's a Petersen build but who cares? Very impressive sight & sound.

Just look at it!

Last bits of the s123 and w111 by Binz:

Wonderful s123 is a Kombi from heaven. Five pot three litre non-turbo oil burner!

This w111 by Binz is from another planet. Also slow and persistent and utterly comfy. But with a class of its own.

Inside it's like sitting in a living room. I could live in here.

Only a handful survived and this might be the best example around. It was featured in a 2023 Mercedes Enthusiast issue.

In the 70s when I was a kid I adored the Benz style radiators and hubcaps.

Last Saturday eight Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 plus a 1968 Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Veloce and team project 916 Spider enjoyed a day out in the Dutch countryside.

Our first stop was the wonderful Visscher Classique https://visscherclassique.nl/ collection of mostly French automobiles.

Dino Day 2 topic here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

The comfortable and practical Maserati Bora stands out in the 70s supercar gamma. The stainless steel looks odd, as does the colour.
The Giugiaro (Italdesign) designed Tipo AM117 looks like a fine GT dressed in a Cw 0,30 sleeky shapped body.

1973 Maserati Bora packs plenty of Citroën tech.

This is a rare one: https://visscherclassique.nl/citroen-m35/
The Citroën M35 was an experimental model of which 267 were offered to as many select French Citroën drivers (6 produced in 1969, 212 in 1970 and 49 in 1971).

Patina perfection, from left to right:
1. this must be a very early DS
2. in my eye the best looking of the pack
3. 1967 Citroën DS 21 Pallas, Gris Palladium and Noir roof

This 1961 Citroën Ami 6 can be borrowed for a day at € 250,-.
