Holy feck, my very first trackday experience: next to David Yu in his tweaked (biggest Brembo's I'd ever seen, changed rear-suspension, 570 brake hot-cammed 7 litre) Z06! All this on the most famous track of the world. Some maiden voyage!
Vid of a standard Vette:

David pulled 1.27 G's, a personal record. I wasn't strapped into a 6-point harnas and i think I'd better done that. I really had to fix myself to stay in the seat. Megagrip and superwide Toyo's didn't slide at all, V8 hammering through the curve's with an easy 120 mph: that's 200 Kmh folks! On the straights I saw 160. We passed Griff's and bikes and Porkers like they were parked there . . . Feck me, when I got out I had to recover for an hour, sitting in the shade. A wonderfull day out though!

As promised, one for the caption competition ...
This Cerbera I polish here for youAglow with its cool evening light
But shining at night, in Tunisia
Never did it shine so bright
The stars are aglow in the heavens
But only the wise understand
That shining at night in Tunisia
They guide you through the Belgium land
Words fail, to tell a tale
Too exotic to be told
Each nights a deeper night
In a world, ages old
The cares of the day seem to vanish
The ending of day brings release
Each wonderful night in Tunisia
Where the nights are filled with . . . well beers in our case.
Cheers all. Nicky, wonderfull to meet a tall girl who's into cars and jazz. You ticked my box.
Eric, good to meet. We'll set a Rotterdam date soon.
I'm sure the pics and stories of that one will turn up Fubes. We've only scratched the surface yet:

We thought we could keep up with you lot thanx to the Smart actually
We needed 3rd and 4th to stay in touch but it really did the Pug well. She's running smooth and picks up a tad quicker. Lovely nightriders convoy, we must do that more often (I have an idea for the spring). I think it's best left to Sinc to give us 'the story' from the first hand
Glad to hear it was just a bunch of cables. Did anyone met The Stoat BTW?
