One of my friends, back in the day, was getting money for washing his grandmothers car. Asked her what to use and she said 'Just get a rag from under the sink'

I went around to see how he was getting on only to find out that he ahd washed half of the car using a brillow pad. He said he couldnt see the scratches it was leaving becasue of the soap that was covering them all!
a guy i went to college with paid his sister to wash his car she did pretty much the same thing leaving some nasty scratches on the bonnet i asked how old his sister was expecting her to be young no older 10 turns out she was 19 he was not impressed! mad

Never used Brasso on a car, but it does tidy up an old iPod quite successfully.

My mother polished an one of her old Morris Minors with 'Sparkle' before it went to auction... like a 1980's cheap Mr Muscle... drizzled on the way to the auction an the water beaded up a treat, sold smile

Wonder if Brasso would do the trick on my Saab 9-5 headlights, plastic lenses are very cloudy... hmm, what could possibly go wrong?!

Probably if the mess is on the outside.
You can use it to polish the scratches out of CDs for example.

It's not uncommon to use T-cut, or even G3 if it's bad to clean up headlights. Brasso ain't going to make them worse.

not that I've used brasso onj a car but first time I used t-cut I thought it was brasso - pretty much smells and looks the same. don't know how closely related they are?
