if this was a topic on a moderator - who long before it was pulled 5 10 20 mins , is this "facebook" or Piston heads
What's wrong with it yetie? Offensive chap is being told he's an idiot and the rest are glowing? Not much different to the Chris Harris or Tiff threads, just opinions on well know car folk I'd settle for a thread like this about me....would make a nice change!

I've got to be honest I don't really like his reviewing style in evo.
Now, I may be incorrect, but when evo started going down the pan a couple of years ago, it seemed that any magazine jolly that was available he got to do it-trips to meet the Ferrari top brass, going to pagani etc etc
Whereas in the past he was usually only used for the insignificant evo "toff" reviews- need the new drop head rolls reviewed? Send 'arry!
His constant fawning to his holy trinity of Maserati, Ferrari & Pagani just don't read well in my humble either.
Neither does his now "expert" analysis of the second hand market, if I'm going to have someone crowing on about how now's the time to treat yourself to that "cheap" continental gt or Ferrari testarossa I'd rather it came from, say perhaps a genuine second hand car "expert"!
However.....
His video diaries are great & in them he comes across so much better than in print. His section in the fast fleet is the first bit I turn to now as well (as we don't get much from SG these days), 'cos who wouldn't want a garage like his?!
Loved his piece on the Mille miglia tour, & even the pagani love-in's are pretty interesting as we get to see how the other half live.
Mixed bag then I guess?!
Not much of a writer & one I could live without, but keep living the dream & telling us about it H, it might be as close as we'll ever get!

His 'Diaries' are fast becoming a part of my weekend routine in that I will get up before the girlfriend, grab a coffee and sit down and watch anything that's been posted in the week.
He seems an absolutely cracking bloke and, without wanting to start the thread down the Top Gear route, the perfect antidote to Clarkson.
