Yep I fear so as it isn't as simple as a bit of resurfacing and filling in a few potholes. The volcanic terrain, combined with flash flood type landslips means they're fighting whatis potentially a losing battle. There was one short stretch which had been very freshly retarmaced and it was heaven, but I bet if I went back now there would be areas of subsidence. Shame.billzeebub said:

To be fair, they used to patch it when the race ran there, sometimes the day before....brave drivers.RDMcG said:
