I looked at purchasing a wrapped car, so asked the seller some questions, and was told the following:
'their weather'? You do realise that Scotland is over 200 miles North to South? The weather in Dumfries is just a little bit different from Thurso...300bhp/ton said:
How happy have you been with the wrap?
Also got a couple of Q's:
1. What sort of warranty guarantee is there/should you expect on the finish and more importantly on how it lasts, such as not peeling or bubbling?
2. How does wrap fair being outside 24/7?
3. Does it stay nice an shiny? I presume it's not something you can polish?
2. Previous owner had it for a year up in Scotland and it was still on, even with their weather. Also got a couple of Q's:

thought about wrapping my car myself. but i can get it resprayed for 7-800 quid :/ probably not worth spending 200 quid on materials then a weekend to have it look like i stuck it on with pritstick
£700-800 seems pretty cheap for a full respray and colour change tbh. What sort of finish would it be?300bhp/ton said:

Yeah it is.something like this would be good IMO
Is that Hugger Orange? Cool colour I admit....
I was thinking along the lines of this, but could be swayed to orange.

No experience, but a more pertinent question may be what is the paint like after the wrap has been removed?
Done properly, it should be absolutely fine.David Yu said:
As you can see, it's been shorn of its stunning metallic purple wrap. Creative FX of Bromley did a great job in removing the wrap and, as they promised, the dual layer vinyl did an excellent job of protecting the Gun Metal paintwork which looks as good as the day it was covered up.
