Seat bolsters don't look to have been cleaned in a while.Like a petrol gauge in the reserve, it's all these visual clues added together that individually wouldn't put you off buying but would certainly make you look closer; added together then they can definitely make you think twice about considering a car.
Years ago when I sold my MK2 scirocco the bloke came to pick it up and I had been using so the wells were covered in crap.
The Hoover wasn't working so I shook the mats off and brushed the rest of the crap to the middle of the wells and covered it with the mats.
When the bloke came he had gone and bought new mats, when he took the old ones out he just stood and stared at all of the st on the floor, he put the new mats in and never said a word!
Embarrassed is not the word!
