Sadly it's just a 528 with a kit on it. Not really worth anything other than scrap as it will cost the earth to restore and then be worth max £5k?

I do love e28s and would be nice to see someone restore it but they'd really have to love it to spunk £1,000s on it.

And it is a BMW 528i 1985 - that has been confirmed by Alpina themselves. Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone.
When you say Alpina, do you mean Sytners? Only reason I ask is I was wondering if Alpina themselves in Buchloe still keep a record of the Sytner cars

This is an Alpina BMW from about that era, but a 1982 E12.

Bernie and Mario might be interested in that although it might just be too tidy.
Start them off at 5K , and accept 2K on the phone from Mario, cue much swearing when he sees it!

I have been told the LSD/ rear axle, Recaros and steering wheel alone would fetch a grand.

No chance.

Diff is worth £120.

Seats will depend on condition, but max £200 if no rips/tears/mould.

Wheel might fetch £200 if it cleans up ok.

They won't - the steering wheel is the only Alpina part on the car.

????? Lovely car, but not sure why you replied to my post with it?

A RHD 1985 E28 B2.8 would have been built by Sytners, so I was wondering how Alpina themselves can rule out whether a car was converted in Nottingham or not. Hence my question of whether it was Alpina Buchloe themselves who answered this, and if it was then I presume they still have records of the Sytner cars
