I think turning down Charlize Theron because her body was put into Ann Widdecombe's skin is closer to the mark.
Totally. There are things that are pointless and awesome, i.e. this: http://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-americancars/ro...This however is a pointless and awful and a waste of Gtr engine.
There is no word yet on whether the 2.0 will be made, but it’s likely considering that the old Juke-R was made available in very limited numbers for an eye-watering £400,000.

Love the creativity.
I just want to know what they cost to buy, to compare it with other cars. If it works in the marketplace, then bring it on.
"The production Juke-R will stick closely to the script of the two original concepts, with the running gear of a GT-R put into a heavily modified version of the standard Juke's bodyshell. There's no news on price, although we're told that it will be 'very high' - the cost of donor cars, so around £100,000, then four months bespoke build cost"I just want to know what they cost to buy, to compare it with other cars. I'm half-sure there was a figure of around £400,000 touted, and I imagine 4 months bespoke build cost could run close to £300k.

Bonkers - yes.
Otherwise a complete waste of a perfectly good GTR engine in a horrid, ulgy quasi-suv aptly nicknamed Joke.
You want to do something sensible? Stick it into Infiniti M and make a RS/M/AMG competitor.
Err, the fact that they've done it to a Juke is the whole point. Because it's not a looker, mad, silly, pointless, good fun, amusing, etc etcOtherwise a complete waste of a perfectly good GTR engine in a horrid, ulgy quasi-suv aptly nicknamed Joke.

If I wanted a fast, tidy handling coupe I'd get an F type R

I don't know about tedious but Nissan definitely has a different sense of humour. For me things can be wild and bonkers but have to make at least a little bit of sense otherwise they are random nonsense. And this Juke fits in that category.
Let's put it this way. Fitting this car with a GTR engine is to me the same level of pointlessness as fitting a Ferrari engine to Fiat Multipla.
