The poor spatial awareness will no doubt be down to the sea-sickness one gets from actually driving it.

Horrible, fetid turd of a car.
I have a Cactus. It's not perfect but overall it's very good. Certainly no sea sickness. The ride is poor at low speed over bad surfaces but that aside it's very comfortable.

The original BMW Mini Clubman. Barn doors at the back. Suicide door on the drivers side. Is it an estate or shooting brake? It is much quirkier than the current version.

It's too oversprung and rolls excessively in corners. I genuinely felt ill after my first journey in it.

Done 17K miles in mine and never felt that. Handles fine in corners.
